It can be difficult for an art environment to work with artists if they don\u2019t have a pinned down artistic profile. Malika Makouf brings an appeal towards a more open institutional logic, which can adapt to fluid artistic profiles, which would then create a stronger relationship between institution and artist. For the same reason Malika Makouf defines artistic identity to consist of four fundamental principles: network, artistic expression, tool, and theme.
